How to Know Jesus

1. Acknowledge that you are a sinner.

[Romans 23:3] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

[Isaiah 53:6] All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

2. Believe the in Jesus.

[Acts 16:30] And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
[Acts 16:31] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

3. Repent of your sins.

[Isaiah 55:6] Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
[Isaiah 55:7] Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

[Luke 13:3] I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

4. Receive Christ as your Savior.

[John 3:16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

[Revelation 3:20] Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

5. Confess that Jesus is Lord of your life.

 [Romans 10:9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[Romans 10:10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

[Mark 8:34] And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
[Mark 8:35] For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
